Dear Host family,

I'm Honey Joy from the Philippines. I'm so passionate of dealing with the kids. I love children and I love their kindness, sweetness and being so lovable. And I also experience taking care with my niece or nephew like baby sitting them while their mother is not around. I also learn how to change diapers, preparing milk, put a towel in their back when they're sweat, change their clothes and feeding the kid's. Playing with the kids especially when they're bored. The things I play with my niece or nephew is hide and seek, drawing, coloring, dancing, singing, playing a barbie doll, watching cartoons and teaching them how to write and read. I also loved teaching kids with good values.
And I'm also willing to help you with household chores because since I was a kid my mom taught me to do household chores like washing the dishes, mopping, dusting, doing the laundry and arrange things in the right place because it is very neat and comfortable to look at when everything in the house is arranged. I also cook from time to time and I also like to make desserts and blend fruit. sometimes I do grocery shopping. And I would loved to share our filipino culture to your family and I want to know the way of your European life. If you also have animals, that's ok with me because I love animals especially dogs because I'm a dog lover. I also like plants because we used to live in my grandmother's province, that's where I learned about plants.

I'm interested to be part of the program as an au pair because I want to try to out of my comfort zone, to learn new things, to develop more my skills and to be independent.
I'm hoping that you will gevin me a chance to experience your country and to know more about your cultures and languages.

• Laundry attendant was my first job it was amazing experience for me I learned a lot not just about the job but also to the people I interact with. I learn how to multitask so that I can finish what I'm doing faster and I can do my next task.
• I also learn about time management especially when it was weekends or even holidays because a lot of customers and work loads to do so.
• About being patience and still be kind when dealing with people or customers interms of misunderstanding or when they're mad.
• Being organise is part of my job because I need to fold the clothes properly and I need to organize as well all the shelves where all the plastic bag of clothes and also the things I need to do, I need to organize them so that I won't forget anything.
• Cleaning is part of my daily routine at home, especially at work. I clean before opening the shop and after closing the shop.
• Trustworthy its not that only I gained a trust from my boss but also to other people in short our customers because some of our customers left their belongings inside of they're laundry basket or even money and I give it back to them without expecting anything in return because its a good feeling when you do good to others or you help someone.

Babysitting
• I also baby sit my nieces and nephews before, since I'm the youngest I always wanted to have a baby brother or sister that's why I love kids.
• I know how to change diapers to prepare milk or snacks, since I was a teenager I observe what my cousin doing to taking good care of her babies.
• I like to spend time with the kids because they are so bubbly, precious, loving and fun to be with.
• I experience also reading my niece a bedtime stories and accompanied her until she fell asleep.
• Doing hair braids and change their clothes especially if they're sweat.
• The most challenging part I experience about kids is when their tantrums begins but somehow I can handle it because I caresses them or make them laugh. And also it depends on what makes them angry because when they are wrong I don't agree with them or tolerate it and I also want to know your ways on how do you discipline your children in your culture.
