McDonald’s Happy Meal Toy in September 2024 – Current Toy Schedule (2024)

There are some fun new September McDonald's Happy Meal toys available at locations across the globe. McDonald's is constantly rotating its Happy Meal offerings so customers can collect new keepsakes. These limited-time items that come with a kids-sized meal are often inspired by upcoming films and series or popular games and brands of toys. Happy Meals were introduced in 1979 as a way for kids to enjoy more appropriate portion sizes, served in a box resembling a lunch pail with the golden McDonald's arches as handles. They include a kids-sized entree, sides, and a beverage along with the Happy Meal toy. Offerings vary per location, but the U.S. Happy Meals include a choice of a burger or 4 or 6-piece chicken McNuggets with a side of kids fries, apple slices, a choice of beverage, and a toy.

U.S. September Happy Meal Toy

The current Happy Meal toy in the U.S. is the Yu-Gi-Oh x Hello Kitty toy. We had previously seen these toys available internationally, and now they have come to the U.S.!

The plush toys are a crossover of Yu-Gi-Oh and Hello Kitty, and there are nine different ones you can collect like Hello Kitty x Dark Magician, Cinnamoroll x Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and more. Each of the plush toys comes with a loop so you can hang them. There is also a mobile game on the Happy Meal website that you can play on your phone or tablet. UK September Happy Meal Toy

At the time of writing, the current UK Happy Meal toy is the Jurassic World Chaos Theory toy. This Happy Meal toy comes with different pieces to assemble a paper dinosaur, an info card, and a booklet with instructions on how to assemble it. Here is a video from Jurassic Rangers Merseyside Department on YouTube showing the unboxing of the Nasutoceratops toy. You can also scan a code for a digital experience engaging with the dinosaurs.

At the time of writing, the current toy listed on Canada's Happy Meal website is inspired by Pet Simulator. The website lists the toy as “August to September,” so we can expect this offering to shift soon.

There are different pet toys you can collect that each have a clip attached to them, and you can decorate them with a sheet of stickers. You can also scan a code on the box to access a digital experience.

Previous Happy Meal Toys

Some McDonald's locations may still have the toys from the previous month. For each of the locations above, the previous toys were the following:

• The U.S. Panini Family Happy Meal toy highlighted various athletes like professional speed climber Bassa Mawem, professional soccer player Wendie Renard, and more. Each Happy Meal came with a poster depicting athletes and stickers.
• For McDonald's Canada and UK, the Despicable Me 4 toy was previously available. This Happy Meal offering featured several different Minion figurines to promote the release of the film.
